Just to pass on to those that know Barb Thompson She attends bingo on Wednesdays when she can and is a local school bus driver for the county. She also tends her little flock of hens on Stur Street. Her mother passed away on Wednesday, April 2 in Brampton, Ontario Canada.

The picture of the Masaryktown Cemetery listed on your Website is very nice and properly fitting. There are some incorrect street names on the map. I would like to correct them, if I may. They are misspelled.
Spur St. should be Stur; Davorak St. should be Dvorak; Mussek St. should be Husek St;
You may also be interested in some other history about some of the streets. As you know all N-S streets are named after American presidents.
The US Post Office in 1958 changed Jefferson St. to Jenkins and Grant St to Grand St. Due to duplicate street names that previously existed in Brooksville. That's the reason for two oddball street names that run N-S.
The first street running behind the Hotel is Washington St. For the record, there is another street running parallel next to the railroad track named McKinley St. Plat records of Masaryktown will verify this as platted in 1925.
Hope -this information will be helpful as pertaining to some part of Masaryktown history.

Chuck and Mona,
Thanks for the On-Line Promo, the Memorial Day program was a great success, the turn out was very good as were the Guest speakers. Special Thanks to the Activities Committee Volunteers who installed the American flags along the road leading up to the Cemetery's entrance.
